Application Broker 3.12 Utility Service

The following operations are available. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.

• translateDigIdentifier

  Looks up a Case based on a version 2.x DigIdentifier (applicant id and serial number) and returns the complete set of version 3.0 identifiers for the Case.

• supportsCaseType

  Returns whether the specified authority supports the specified case type.

• getValueLists

  Returns enumerations or 'value lists' used in the other services.

• getAuthorityList

  Returns the list of supported authorities, their type and which case types they accept.

• getClientVersion

  NEW! Returns the service version used by the specified administrative unit, which must be an authority.

  Applicant clients can use this method to predict case version when creating new cases.

• translateSerialNumber

  NEW! Looks up a Case based on applicant id and serial number and returns the Case ID.

  NOTE: This method is similar in function to 'translateDigIdentifier', but unlike that method, this method works for all cases.

• getVersionedAuthorityList

  NEW IN 3.6! Returns the list of supported authorities, their type, which case types they accept and their supported service version.
